There are 2 alternatives from the Rennes périphérique (ringroad)

Either:

On the Rennes périphérique (ringroad) take Junction 6, N137 direction Nantes.
Stay on the N137 south till you see the sign for Derval & Chateaubriant TakeD46/ D537
In Derval, go past the church & turn left (on a corner) onto D775 for Chateaubriant.
This road changes to N171 for Chateaubriant.
Once you arrive in Chateaubriant, carry straight on at the roundabouts through the 'zone industrielle' (shopping zone) - direction Laval - until  you reach the main roundabout. (There is a shop called 'Bricomarché' on the left. Go straight on Direction Laval. N171.
Go down the hill, under the railway bridge, to the roundabout.
Turn right D163 direction Laval.
Next roundabout, turn left D178, direction Laval
About half a mile, take D34 right for Juigne les Moutiers.

Stay on the D34 - after about 1 mile go past its crossroads with the D14, carry straight on - after another 3 miles go past the crossroads with the D20 - carry straight on. After approximately 1 mile, take the next road to the left, it has no road number but there are 'Chambres d'Hôtes' signs on either side of the lane end.

"La Roulais" is the first property on the left about half a mile down this lane - pillared entrance with sign for "La Roulais"

On the Rennes périphérique, take Junction 5, D163, direction Angers.

After a few miles, signs for Chateaubriant appear (on this D163)
Near Janzé the road number changes to D41 Chateaubriant.
Near Martigné Ferchaud, road number changes to D94 Chateaubriant.
At Martigné Ferchaud take D178 Chateaubriant.
Roundabout, turn left D178 Nantes/St.Nazaire (not D178a 'centre ville' straight on, but D178 left!)
Roundabout, straight on D178, direction St. Nazaire.
After approx. 1 mile take road to the left D34 for Juigné les Moutiers...
